District Health and Family Welfare Samiti, Nandigram Health District has released an online recruitment notification for 69 posts of Community Health Officer under National Health Mission, West Bengal. Eligible BSc Nursing, GNM, Post Basic BSc Nursing or BAMS candidates can apply through the West Bengal health portal from 09 December 2025 to 23 December 2025. These posts are purely contractual and linked with the NHM programme.

Age Limit

Maximum age 40 years as on 01-04-2025 for all candidates. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and other reserved categories will be applicable as per Government of West Bengal rules.

Qualification

BSc Nursing with integrated BPCCHN from 2021 onward or GNM or Post Basic BSc or BSc Nursing completed before 2021 or BAMS degree from a recognised institute. Registration with the respective council and other conditions as per NHM guidelines are mandatory. Knowledge of local language and computer will be preferred.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through written test followed by interview or counselling and verification of documents as per National Health Mission guidelines. Final engagement will depend on overall merit and availability of posts.
